Hello, hola, salut 🙂
Surprise! I’m back. Finally, after a few weeks I am coming back and do I have things to share with you! Hope you missed me, even a little bit.
Let me update you but first things first. I’d like to apologize to you dear reader (if you’ve stopped by and didn’t see any activity on the blog) but I needed to completely disconnect.
I had been juggling a few things since late last year work-wise and one thing after another happened. It all accumulated at once and I simply couldn’t keep up with the pace.
I have finally cleared my plate, so to speak, and have been taking it easy for a bit so that I can fully recharge my batteries and program what’s to come.
So far so good. It was great taking the time away from it all to be with the ever growing family and enjoy each other’s company but also to rest and relax! I am now ready to face the music with lots of energy and enthusiasm 🙂
Last time I was here, life as we knew it has not been the same, especially since that lunatic and fake agent orange has been in power.
Now that I look back, what a wild ride it has been, not only for our American neighbors but the entire planet!
How is it possible that someone like that who clearly is incompetent and a true case for the nuthouse has access to nuclear codes? And getting help from his allies (the bad hombres) to get elected? Oh lord.
OK, I will not go any further and discuss politics here because that’s not the main purpose but it does affect us on a daily basis doesn’t it?
Now to be completely honest, we did weather the storm and we had quite a winter this side of the planet. How was it where you are?
I can honestly count the sunny days with blue skies with possibly two hands and the rest, well it was pretty darn cold and grey.
I am from Central America AND I love warm, sunny weather but living here in North America is quite a challenge, especially in the wintertime.
Mr. Winter sure made us suffer until the first week of spring and finally left. Bye bye!
Spring has finally sprung and brought us out of hibernation and back to life 🙂
I sure have been enjoying (believe it or not) even the grey, rainy days because as they say, April showers bring may flowers 🙂
The sun is shining bright, birds are singing and yes, days are getting longer & nights shorter!
I love the Spring, as it is the season of renewal, hope and makes us smile from east to west.
Now those who know me can confirm that I can’t stay still for long and go for long walks in order to get a nice dose of natural vitamin D and a good workout.
So not long ago I took an extended break and headed down to Downtown and Old Montreal (my own backyard) to rediscover the area and see it with different eyes, the results will surprise you. Stay tuned for a few posts on that. Here is a preview.
Since I had been quite taken by a few responsibilities, I didn’t get the chance to get away but have been on many road trips around the city and I love hitting the road! It’s just awesome to get away even if it’s not too far away.
Now just a few days ago, I went and picked up my new travel companion (passport) and later on this year I will be going to one of these destinations, want to guess where? 🙂
In 2017, Canada we will be celebrating its 150th anniversary
and Montreal’s 375th anniversary, so that means there will be plenty to see, do and visit. I look forward to visiting many new places in my own county and share it with you!
I plan on being more active and post at least once a week, if not more. I have so much to write about that I hope you’ll like, including book, product, movies & music reviews, hotels and restaurant reviews, city guides, new destinations, travel blogger interviews and much more, so come on by and check it out.
